My Work as a Filmmaker
As a filmmaker and journalist, I am drawn to stories that reveal the strength and complexity of the human spirit. My work often focuses on those whose voices are overlooked — survivors of war, immigrants, community builders, and cultural pioneers. I believe in the power of documentary film to not only inform, but to move people, challenge assumptions, and inspire change. Whether I’m exploring the trauma of displacement, the legacy of revolution, or the quiet persistence of aging artists, my goal is always the same: to tell truthful, meaningful stories that connect us across time, borders, and experience.
